Posters, Quizzes and Underground Origami Movements

You and Orlando have always belonged together...

This is the result from a quiz that Anne posted. Good artwork...

You're an Outleg. people don't accept you the way
that you are. You are not a part of a group,
but have some friends, mostly people just like
you. You are being loyal to your way of living,
and that's worth more than hanging around with
some group.

What kind of group person are you?

I have discovered the hidden cult-world of Origami. I mean, there are Origami societies, operating under the noses of us all. How strange. I didn't know it was still so popular. It's harder than crap, though. And there is all this terminology--like "petal fold" and other acronymns that I couldn't decifer. It was kind of scary. If these people can fold paper into intricate shapes that can take hours to create--what else could they do? *is trembling in fear* It's strange. But I did make my first Origami crane, though. There's something oddly satisfying in actually finishing a design successfully. I felt like laughing and showing people. Weird. I remember in (I think it was) 8th grade when someone (usually a big nerd) "discovers" oragami, all of sudden it's cool if you can fold a dollar bill to make George Washington smile. I remember David (can't remember his last name, but he ended up marrying Bass) used to always do crap like that. It only made him nerdier than his perfect ACT and SAT scores made him.

Anywho--I didn't mean to obsess, but I feel as if I've discovered and underground movement to take over the world or something--the seedy underside of paper consumers.

Just something to think about....use my "fire escape" and type in Origami and see the thousands of pages that come up. Explore...
