Beautiful, beautiful northern girl...

So it has been slow in blogland. No one posts much and there are pretty much no comments to be found except on Nailz's blog. *is suspicious* Where is everyone? The sock knome didn't snatch you all while you were doing laundry, did he? *is panicked*

At any rate, I observed today some of the most silly and obnoxious things. At Cub Foods, which is the "cheap" grocery store, I found salon hair products (across the aisle from the "normal" hair products) that started at $11.95 and went up to over $20.00! Holy Shit! Why on earth would someone spend that much on an 8 oz. bottle that will probably last 2 weeks or a month at the most? Crazy! Perhaps if I were rich, or famous (and in that case, most likely both) I would spend that much...but even then...isn't there something more worthy to spend money on? I forgot the other things. I am so appalled!

So as far as days go this day sucked ass. The only two things that went right were my visits to St. Kate's and PetSmart. I was all expecting to have to wrestle with the run-around at St. Kate's and then I went only to two offices who had nice and cooperative employees. *is shocked* At PetSmart, I was buying training aides for Yuki so he doesn't pee on what he's not supposed to, when the dog trainer came up to me. She was giving advice on what did and didn't really work, and then suggested that he, Nailz and me come to the potty-training workshop on Saturday. I had seen the prices for their classes and they were all at least $99 for 8 week courses, but the class on Saturday is actually only a one-time thing for an hour and only costs $15. To quote Nailz, "win!"

Ok, so now I'm yapping.
