when there's too much of nothing, nobody should look
So yes...It has been a while, hasn't it? Hm. Don't remember what I blogged last time I blogged. I'm sure it was something inconsequential. I haven't spent much time on the computer lately. I kind of am avoiding being on it too long at one time because I don't want to get sucked into the time vortex the internet creates. *is paranoid delusional*
I went to my cousin's (it would funny, yet sick if I had written it "cousins'" instead...) wedding last weekend. It was alright. Well, I should explain. I had to drive my 5 year old (hyper-active) niece 6 hours to the wedding, so she could see the great-grandma she hasn't seen since she was a baby, so that was an interesting experience. My car being new didn't help. I was cringing everytime she dropped a crayon. Thank god it wasn't hot enough for the crayons to melt into my upholstery. Anyway. Everything was ok until the rest of my immediate family showed up. Drama from my brother's spiteful return home followed them to the wedding. It was typical. Anyway, I just tried to ignore it best I could and hid most of the time from everyone. The ride back home with the kid was another adventure, though luckily, this time she slept for three hours, so I missed out on three hours of "Are we there yet?" and "How many miles now?". Argh.
Um, yeah, so I'm still unemployed. Nailz and I had an excellent idea for a picture we should take to send to Odd Todd...*we're up to mischief*
What else? The dog is getting "tutored" (as Nailz likes to call it) tomorrow, and we're taking the cat in with him because he has an extreme case of diarrhea (as in he can't hold it in, etc.). We are renting a Rug Doctor on the way back from the vets, so that we can get the carpets really clean before they come back. Of course, today will have to be a lot of cleaning in preparation for the Rug Doctor, so it doesn't take all damn day (which it probably will anyway, but maybe this way, it won't also take all night).
Oh! And this weekend I go to Dave's graduation. I'm excited, mainly to get to hang out with his mom. *feels lame* Dave will probably do the typical thing anyway, which is ditch his own grad party. Every grad did it in Vermtowne, I don't see why it would be different in Rapid, except that I think Dave actually
likes his family. Hm...We shall see. Me and The Almighty Ho may be riding together. We are still working out details and stuff. Perhaps we will have to have a super-secret teleconference with our respective goons to make a deal.
