I don't need you to worry for me, 'cause I'm alright.
Go ahead with your own life... *sings Billy Joel at top of lungs* Maybe I should recommend this song for OddTodd's song for Thursday. It's just so...feel good. Speaking of OddTodd, I had ordered his book online and I now have it in my possession. Mwahahahaha! I shall conquer worlds now!
Ahem...anyway. Nailz is in the kitchen cooking tofu and stuff. Smells really good, but the apato is getting kind of hazy. *squints through haze to read screen* As you can probably guess by now, I'm in a good mood. Not sure why...probably is the Billy Joel. Feel like dancing around in my apartment like a dork...but then the dog would start barking and jumping (he's sensitive when it comes to bad dancing).
So, what did I do today? Well, I went to go get my car it's 3,000 mile "service" (even though my mileage is more like 6,000) at the dealership, but turns out it's just an oil change that they want to charge me $24.95 for. Jerks. No way! I'm unemployed--are they kidding? I've got a coupon for a $12.95 oil change somewhere else. I would change it myself, but I don't have any ramps and my car is too close to the ground to scrunch under safely and I definitely don't trust jacks. Then I went to get a new DL. The line was horrendous! Eh...and the picture is going to look like a mugshot. *cries*
Anywho--I guess it's time for:
Confession of the Day
Today, I searched jobs on the internet without any real intention of actually applying. The truth is is that I've sort of lost faith in the job market...I will apply to these jobs, but I don't have any hope of actually getting any of them. I haven't even gotten any call backs for interviews, just calls from staffing and temp agencies, who do a phone interview and then say that they don't have anything that fits what I'm looking for. *growls* I'm getting to the point where I'm going to go and become a welder (ok, so specifically, a boiler maker)--free training and then actual job placement.
Yup. That's it. I apologize for any boredom incurred by reading this blog. Feel free to leave comments--I love 'em!
