Nap Completed

*rubs sleep out of her eyes* I just woke up from a 3 1/2 hour nap. I am currently suffering from what I like to call a "sleep hangover". ............... <----That's what a sleep hangover does to you. Hm...*thinks hard with half-open eyes*

Today I woke up late. I had nothing to do, so I figured: "Why the Hell not?" Then I checked my messages and more people had called me within the last 10 hours I had been sleeping than had called me all week--2. It was nice to feel needed. The first message was from MP who wanted to know if I wanted to help out at the AIDS Trek booth at a festival downtown--I said sure and then coerced Nailz into to going too. We got there and it was really busy. We had a hard time finding the booth we were supposed to be under, but once we did we set right in to our work. MP sold raffle tickets and put stickers on people while Nailz and I worked on the supply of free stuff. I didn't last very long before I had to sell raffle tickets too. Nailz got out of it because she was sick. It got pretty hot and sunny, and I think I got a sunburn--as I hadn't figured on standing out in the sun and therefore didn't wear sunscreen. I'm so pale I should just wear it any time I leave my apartment.

Aywho--so that was about it for that. Today I got billed for the year for my comment service on this blog. I started blogging before blogger offered the free comment service and so therefore I pay for mine to appear on the site. I would switch to the blogger service, but I would lose all my comments from the past year and also, I would have to change my template and I like it too much. Never seen another blog that changes colors, so I'm keeping it. All that said--I think people should comment and not only justify the existence of the comment link, but also to send a little ray of sunshine into my life. It's better than money any day! Ok, I'm going now. I all I've had to eat today is some oatmeal and a small rice crispy bar, so I'm kind of hungry. *prowls into kitchen*
