Off like panties on prom night...
So. Tomorrow I leave on a great trek. A journey which will take me to the far reaches of two different states. A journey where I will achieve undeniable success and suffer tremendous heartbreak. *is being dramatic* Seriously, though--tomorrow I am leaving for all of 5 days. This means that there will probably be little to no blogs for the next few days. I shall try to do what I can for the cause, however. Please check, as I always try to keep people guessing...
Today, I got up early. Not on purpose, really, but Nailz and I had to be somewhere in the morning. It was an adventure as I hadn't been up before 9am in almost a month. Being awake at a time when I'm usually not made me feel very sick, though. It took until noon for me to feel back to normal. It doesn't help that my video card is screwed up again. I am going to try to get into the case and do what I did last time before I call tech support. If that doesn't work, I think when I call tech support I'm going to see if I can just get them to send me a new vid. card, as this is the 3rd time in less than 2 months that something has gone wrong with it....Then again, it could be something with the motherboard--in that case, I would be screwed in the way that makes me say "ouch"... *cries*
The cat and dog are being reckless today. We already had to clean up two knocked over plants (the two biggest ones). *growls* I love my cat, but I hate him too. Is that natural? At any rate...I went to Target in the morning and at first loved it, because it was empty, but then hated it because there were a whole bunch of screaming kids in there. I wasn't feeling good to begin with and screaming children only worsened my mood. (Does it ever lighten anyone's mood?) Then Nailz and I went to PetSmart (where I spent money on stuff to spoil the cat rotten) and World Market (where I bought four new pairs of chopsticks, a new asian cookbook and other random, cheap things). It was great fun. Ok, onto the...
Confession of the Day
While Nailz and I were in World Market, they had this display bed set up, only the headboard and footboard were only like 3 feet apart (everything is so crammed in the store, so they kind of have to). I was thinking, "You're kidding...Is this the whole bed?" Nailz laughed and I realized I had said that out loud. It was one of the most unobservational/unintelligent things I've ever said. Oh well, I believe I've said worse in public. *thinks* But I can't think of any examples right now.
Ok, so that's it for now. I need to flush some money down the toilet and do laundry. Gotta have clothes to wear on my journey of 1000 miles. *is being dramatic again* Ciao!
