There are luxuries we can't afford, but in our house we never get bored.
Back to song quotes for titles. The part of never getting bored isn't necessarily true, but I still like the quote. My roommate is going to re-materialize today I guess. I made a few calls and found out that she left for here this morning (or was supposed to at the last anyone heard from her). The apartment is a mess. I would clean it up, but I'm not really feeling the energy. I went out to my usual coffee shop today and sat around, looked through Sunday's job ads, doodled in a notebook, etc. I was hoping to get away with wasting four hours there, but then I got the news that my roommate was coming back.
Now, I'm just sitting here...waiting. So I'll post today's confession:
Confession of the Day
I honestly thought about placing a personal ad today. You know, one of those "I saw you here, on this day, doing this--are you interested?" ads. I was out walking the dog around the lake and ran into this really cute guy with a chocolate lab, twice. Both times we were going the opposite directions, first time was on the back side of the lake (it is a large lake) and the second time in the park on the other side of the lake. We stopped to let the dogs meet and chatted about the pets for a bit, but never exchanged names. I, obviously, decided not to do the ad. I mean, what's the use? Besides, we might meet again by accident while walking our respective dogs, and then I would actually introduce myself.
I know that's not a very good confession, considering it is neither shocking, nor even humorous, but I'm feeling sort of humorless today. On the upside, I think I'm going to try to convince Nailz to compose more pictures to take and send into OddTodd.
Oh, and one more thing. I have a comments link that anyone can feel free to use. I respond back and if you have a homepage or interesting link, post it in the comments and I can start doing a daily/semi-weekly link. Any entertainment you send my way I will be eternally grateful for!
