*looks around clueless*

Today I had a job interview. It was okay. I got the job. It's not a real job though. It's a casual position--which means I'm basically an on-call fill in. This means that I only work if someone is sick or goes on vacation. It also means that I get two hours notice before I have to show up. I have to pay union dues in order to work there, too. But, hey--a job's a job, right? So I am going to continue to look for a real job and maybe work a few hours here and there. Hn.

After my job interview, I came home and took a long nap ala OddTodd. It felt good. Today was Nailz's first day of work at her new job--she was training. It sounds like an ok job except for the 12-hour shifts. Hmmm....The guy who hired her said that I should work for him too. I think this is funny considering he's never met me.

We went over to Nailz's aunt's house tonight for supper and to let the puppies play together. It was fun times. We all sat around and talked about the pets. If someone listening in didn't know we were talking about animals, they probably would have thought we were all new mothers. It was ridiculous. *chuckles*

Confession of the Day
I haven't applied to any new jobs yet this week. I feel ultimately lazy. Tomorrow, when I'm sitting around "on-call", I should put in a crap load of applications on the web and send a few through snail mail. Hn.

I'm tired--and grumpy for the most part. I guess it's time to hit the sack. 'Night.
