Plan #723 aborted. New Mission: Screw Plans
I have had it with real life. I want to go back to college...problem is--I can't. Not like I used to. I have to work to support myself, so I can't go full-time. Plus, I wouldn't want to live in the dorms again (ick). But I need to finish my degree. It is unacceptable not to go back and finish. So--I got this new job about a month ago and they originally said that they would work around my classes. Well, they lied. They shook their heads no when I told them my school schedule. I was a little upset. I have had so many disappointments in trying to go back to school, and that was the last straw. So I ditched everything. I dropped my classes, returned the books I bought the previous day. But I am not defeated. Haha! I will still be taking my online course about career and life planning, but I will not be going back to day classes this fall. I will be registering for weekend and evening classes that start right after Christmas, and finish my degree that way. In the meantime, I'm looking for a different job, because I want to screw my employers, like they screwed me. Sounds bitter, but for the first time in my life, I want to take an eye for an eye. There is more to the story--Nailz knows it all, but I am not inclined to recount the whole thing. What is above is just the jist--the tip of the iceberg if you will--of the problems I have been trying to work around.
So. I have had an interesting couple of days, in some ways. I have been spending a good amount of time at that fansite again. I have been IMing one of the nice people on there. I feel strange again--like I really shouldn't spend that much time on a fansite. I mean, it is entertaining and all, but I'm not sure it is socially healthy. Something cool came out of being on the site late at night though. Someone came on and posted an address where you can go to watch a live concert from Japan. So we all watched the concert while chatting, all the while making comments on various aspects of this concert. It rocked! Those crazy Japanese! One of the musicians was wearing a Twins jersey. It was so weird! I knew that the Japanese liked baseball, but for a Japanese person to wear a Twins jersey to perform at a concert in was strange, but very cool at the same time.
That's about it really. My sister came up this weekend. We hung out for a bit. Went out for drinks on Saturday night with friends. Yadda yadda yadda...Well, I think I am going to do...stuff. My room is a pit, so maybe I'll clean that. Hn.
Oh, and to
Verm student (who shall remain semi-anonymous), of course Nailz and I remember you! That so rocks! The dollhouse you remember was something that Nailz's mom was always working on--I used to love that thing and was always looking at her mom's miniature things to put in it. I hope you are having a good time, where ever you may be, and you can always reach me here (if you would need to for some strange, yet-to-be-determined reason). Nailz says hi, too! (she's not awake yet...)
