in short, it was dancing in the wind

So blogger is being a butt recently. It takes forever to load pages and sometimes it doesn't even load and then I say screw it and leave. This weekend was good, I guess. I made a HUGE purchase. I am happy, yet so very, very sad. I bought the 19" LCD. I am happy because it rocks, but I am very sad because now I am poor. *looks inside wallet and cries* Ok, so that's not true, but it hit me in my savings that I have been building up little by little.

I had some strange-ass dreams last night. I don't remember most of them right now, but the one part I do remember was set back in the hold trailer park where I grew up. I was my current age and me and Nailz were walking across the street (it is very wide for a small town street) and my cat, Orochimaru, is following behind us. All of a sudden two cars totally run my cat over. The first one doesn't do much damage--it took off about an inch of one of his back paws. But then the second car does the same thing to his other back paw. I was so worried about him, but he just sat there and licked his bloody stumps like they only hurt a little bit. I was really mad at those drivers. But that is all I remember right now. I know there was more to all the dreams and that they were definitely wacked out, but if I remember those, I will post them on Nailz's blog.

I am getting excited for my new job to start. Only 9 more days and I will be free from hell. What's even cooler is that Halloween is this weekend! Squueeeee! *does hyper happy dance* What's NOT cool, is that my costume hasn't arrived yet. I paid $30 shipping on that bitch to arrive by the 21st, yet I have yet to see it. *is suspiciously pissed* Also, election day is the 2nd. Depending on the outcome, this could be a very good day or a very bad day. If it is a good day, it will be good that I don't work on the 3rd, for I will be whooping it up like Mardi Gras. Then again, if it is a bad day (that is an understatement) I may just drink Drano, as a preemptive strike against what surely would be 4 more miserable years. So the next 9 days will be an exciting time! Yay for excitement!

Also, Mistress of Doom forwarded me this article. I am surprised not to see anime on the list. I am sure it hovers around 11 or 12, though. *stands proud and geeky* I think cosplay is cool--if you do it right, that is! *goes and hides in closet as is now really embarassed*

Oh, and this is pretty funny too. Poor Jude had to stand near her. Wonder if her career will crash?
