stones taught me to fly
So the long weekend is over. *heavy sigh* Well, I must say that I enjoyed it immensely, but I also enjoy actually getting paid, so going back to work is bitter, but definitely sweet too. I just need to make sure that I have a to-do list for this week. I am excited to be productive again.
I got to visit with Ms. Doom over the weekend as well as with her arch-rival Hagan. We watched
Ned Kelly. While this movie was definitely not short on beautiful men, it was very short on having a point. Oh well--seeing Orlie hit on women and obviously get laid a lot was worth the no-pointedness of the film.
My Mom, Dad, and I committed arborcide together on Saturday. What fun it is! We picked a concolor pine (I think that's what it was). It's really pretty and smells nice. Looking at Christmas traditions it really doesn't surprise me that people are not all that driven to stop deforestation around the globe. I'm not sure if I support the practice of cutting down trees to put in homes for 4 weeks and then throw them out. Of course, I'm not sure I
have to have a stance on it either. *sticks out tongue*
Also met a beautiful man at the bar. He was looking very Bowie-esque. And he was pretty cool. No need to go further on this subject as I most likely will never see him again. Not to mention that it is getting late (almost 10pm) and I should get some sleep so as to NOT make Monday harder than they always are. *rolls eyes*
Ok, well, happy Monday everyone. We can get through it if we all just stick together. *stern and steadfast look*
