and if i truly believe that things can change, will i wake up to something different?

So I meant to post a huge blog last night so everyone would have a nice big post to start their week with... Then I got distracted.

I've decided that the apato is an absolute pit, with a large part of it being entirely my fault. *sigh* It just looks like Nailz and I live in a dorm room. The walls are bare, except for two posters. We don't have any kind of place to put all of our DVDs and Anime. The "entertainment center" my sister gave me in junior year is really a little cabinet, which makes our 13" TV look large. *rolls eyes* We have very few pieces of furniture (and the loveseat we do have is going to have to go when spring rolls around!).

Yeah, so my one (and only) New Year's Resolution will be to finally make it look like I have lived here for more than a month. No more cardboard box "furniture". In with an actual kitchen table. In with a real entertainment cabinet. In with more bookshelves and maybe even a mantle somewhere. Finally train the ivy plants to go around the living room windows. Curtains in my bedroom. I also resolve to reduce my wardrobe by 1/3--no matter how much it pains me and no matter how much I swear up and down that I will wear that [insert article of clothing here] this year...

Ah. Anywho...I have been saving up links for *thinks* a long time. I have to check the links to see if they actually still work. *checks links* Ok, here's what still worked:

Don't know if I've posted this yet, but even if I did, it is worth another mention. I originally found this when Nat linked to it. For Asian men...

This link is from October. I unearthed it while clearing out my bookmark file. Still kind of interesting, ne? How life scarring would that be?

Here is a link that Miss Katharine (I think, my archive is acting funny and I can't get to that old post) gave me in a comment after Bush won the election. It is humorous, yet still educational. Guess becoming an ex-pat may be harder than I thought. Damn.

Here is something I also wondered. It goes along with the Bush theme, though it is really hilarious and outlandish.

Last thing that is politically related... This is a bit drastic, but in general, I think it is humorous. I only wish he still had all his essays up. They were funny and educational.

This always reminds me of Ms. Doom because the kitty uses the Doom-esque "smashy smashied". Lol!

This is the most recent link. I am sorry to end on such a gloomy note... You know what?! *idea* I'll link something better right after this. No one wants to leave a blog end with this recent article.

Here's a game that a friend of mine sent me in an email that I personally never tire of. This is for all you "bookworms". (Very bad pun, you will find out in just a moment...) Have fun!
