i guess the winter makes you laugh a little slower,
makes you talk a little lower about the things you could not show her
Ah...well, I have been absent this month haven't I? Well, I must say that this December is certainly stretching itself out. I wish I could speed it up. I don't like December--mainly because it has the least amount of daylight than any other month of the year. I wouldn't say that I am depressed necessarily--I just don't care...about anything. *shrugs*
I have been working a normal amount (40 hrs/week). I have done most of my last-minute Christmas shopping and now I am going to be thoroughly poor for the next month. I don't really have any ambition to try to put in any overtime at work. As it is, when I get home from work I feel like I am cross-eyed and completely, mentally fried (I place and receive over 60 phone calls a day). I just can't think a thought if I tried. And now it is late on a Wednesday night. I am blogging because I realize that this may be the last entry I make for the year, and I would like to give all my fans (pshaw....) an early Christmas present.
Anything major in my life has already been covered by
Nailz's blog. The only other sort of interesting thing that I did was that I took my kitty to get his picture taken with Santa at PetSmart. I know that this is reminiscent of a crazy-cat-lady, but keep in mind that I am doing it mostly out of something entertaining to talk about. *rolls eyes* He is very cute though. Amazingly, he didn't bite, scratch or pee on Santa. I took him in the carrier, but then had him on his harness and leash while in the store. I think he would've been a bit better off on a less busy day, as all the dogs in the store were going absolutely nuts over him. I also got a Christmas tree ornament for Orochimaru's "First Christmas". It was custom made and the lady who wrote the name gave me a look like I was crazy when I said his name. I bet in Japan it would almost be perfectly normal (in fact, I bet there's about 100 cats in Japan named Orochimaru because of the Naruto anime).
Anywho--that is about it. I know this will most likely disappoint. For my short-comings, I apologize. I also apologize that I have not gotten to reading anyone's blog in the past *counts* 15 or so days. I promise to catch up soon. Well, if this is the last you hear of me for the year, I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!
