past the mission, i smell the rosesSo. I wasn't supposed to take today off. Well, that's not necessarily true. Today is a paid holiday for my work, but I could've chosen to take it another day. After much debate and reflection last night, I chose to take it today. The reason being that I am behind in my school work. I have to finish off the novel for one of my classes (250 pages) and begin another novel for my other class to be finished reading by Thursday at the latest (340 pages) and have a reflection paper to write (due tonight at class) on the novel I actually read this weekend. I also have a few errands to run. Hence, I have decided to nip my school work surplus in the bud.
I know, I know...exciting stuff for a blog. *rolls eyes* I know Nailz will be surprised to find me home, though. We'll probably go to the grocery store, as she is almost out of food and I am out of milk and a few other items. After the errand running, I will probably seclude myself in the library's quiet room for the rest of the day.
This weekend was fairly droll. I did some reading. Nailz was gone, so I plenty of free time. I cleaned the majority of the apartment, so it is no longer a complete pig sty. (Note: One of the reasons it could be cleaned so well by myself, was because most of the clutter was mine. *bows in humility*) Nailz was pleasantly surprised, I do believe. *proud grin* I got a few things done otherwise, like taking my tax information into my tax preparer and taking some stuff into the alterations/dry cleaning place. I also got to go out a couple times with my friend. I think our circle of friends are convinced we are together now. While I don't mind that assumption (seeing as he is a boy), I'm not sure if the idea should be allowed to take too strong of a hold considering we are NOT together.
Anywho--I think that's about it. I would like to leave you with a link to some
nerdy science stuff. I almost understand most of it. But it is very interesting none-the-less. :)
