According to my schedule, I didn't have any meetings, so I figured it would be harmless if I took the day to finish my seminar paper on Jane Austen. Turns out there was a really important conference call at 9am that I missed out on. (Not that
I'm sad about missing it...) Well, that's what they get for not telling me on Friday. Too bad so sad! Especially because I'll probably pay for it tomorrow. *is dreading work*
SO. Man. I did something really shameful this past weekend. I'm not even sure I want to say anything because it's so bad, I almost feel like going to confession (which I haven't gone to since being a junior in high school). That's right--it's
that bad. I'm going to hell--if I believed in that sorta thing. *grin* But--I do believe in Karma. And payback for this past weekend may be a bitch later.
Otherwise, not much to say. I got drunk on Saturday night at the bar and Nailz had to drive me home. I didn't get sloppy drunk though, and didn't hurl or anything. Just got "very happy". It was wonderful. I want to take this moment to thank Nailz for a wonderful night. *bows to Nailz* I also read the newest volumes of the two manga series I'm digging right now. Since
Tramps Like Us won't release the newest volume until May, I comforted myself with Vol.2 of
Hands Off! and Vol.8 of
Fruits Basket. I dig manga baby. I just wish I could live in their world sometimes. Seems like a helluva lot more fun. *dreamy sigh* Plus, their world is filled with hot boys...can't go wrong there.
