like heaven above me, the spy who loved me is keeping all my secrets safe tonight

There is not much to say today. I had a really great thought at one point while driving home tonight, but it was long gone after the light turned green. I am about to go to Barnes & Noble to do some homework. The one closest to our place has this really crappy Starbucks in it, but there's a ton of tables and chairs in the center of this huge Barnes & Noble, so it's a pretty nice place to study. Plus, they can't screw up bottled drinks, now can they? And the bottled drinks are *gasp* cheaper and *not so gaspy* better for you. Another downside though, is that doing homework there makes me want to go buy a laptop first. I really wish I could sit there and type up my ideas for a paper, but instead, I'm going with a pad of paper and pen. Maybe I can get a good outline done tonight and then flesh it out tomorrow. I had this crazy idea to actually go to BestBuy and buy a laptop tonight. It was weird because it took a few minutes for me to realize that I can't just go out and buy expensive pieces of computer equipment. I mean, I could--but my rent check would bounce. And what's more important: roof over my head or portable computer? You're right, the winner is the laptop, hands down... Heh heh. Just kidding.

So, for the paper that I'm starting on tonight, my topic is: l33t/netspeak and how it relates to power on the internet. Yeah. What a task, eh? It's gonna suck and probably be a really bad paper, but I have 4 more (required by the professor) drafts to make it better. I also need to give a presentation on my senior seminar paper this coming Monday, have the actual final draft of it due on the 16th, and write a research paper on Moby Dick by the 19th. I know it doesn't seem like much to the "traditional" full-time student, but I work a full-time, salaried job and that has to come first when it comes to time (unfortunately). Then, of course in my priorities comes my blog and then anime and then schoolwork. I'm just playin'. But not really now that I think seriously on the subject.

Remind me to blog this weekend about Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore. I have some insight that I'd like to share.
