you were right about the stars--each one is a setting sunSo. What a weekend. I had a birthday party last night. We went out to a really cool bar where they were having a burlesque show. They put out poker cards and chips on the tables and we all sat and got drunk and played poker. Good times. We walked around the corner near closing time to a friends' house and hung out on the patio in the back and chatted. Even though most of us got pretty drunk, no one got sick and no one did anything really stupid--which is always a nice occassion. It was just Nailz, me and 5 other of our friends.
I was hung over this morning a bit, but nothing some Excedrin and trip to the diner couldn't cure. Nailz and I went shopping at Target to get a few things and then went into PetSmart. I just needed one thing and then as usual we went to visit the kitties in cages. There was this one that was all sprawling out all cute, so I got out my digital camera and took a picture. Next thing an employee bursts in and right off starts lecturing me on why it is illegal to take pictures in retail stores, especially pet stores for a number of reasons--one of which she claimed was espionage. If I hadn't been so taken a back, I would've snorted and laughed--but this girl was serious, and seriously bitchy. I was so shaken that I said I would erase them off my camera right then. So in my hazy getting-over-a-hang-over and somebody-just-bitched-at-me state, I accidentally erased the whole memory card. I was (and still am to a certain degree) so upset because of that stupid bitch, that I'm calling the manager of the store tomorrow to put in a complaint about the girl's btichy attitude towards customers. Besides, they should have a sign on the door saying that pictures are not allowed. I could see others wanting to take pictures to take back to their families or something to show them what cat they want to adopt. Espionage? Give me a break....
So that was it. Tomorrow is my birthday. I get to turn the great age of 26. Yay! I took the day off from work, which is a relief because I still have quite a few errands to run.
*sigh* *still depressed about losing pictures*
