but i still can't focus on anything

SO. The count-down to the con is on. T minus 115 hours (that's 4 days and a few hours) until registration starts. Nailz is working hard to finish her costume. I think she'll probably finish tonight. I have only a few, minor things to do, and will wait until Nailz goes to bed to do them.

Because I have a few hours to go, I thought I would do a link dump. Don't know how many I'll actually do before I get distracted by one of them...

This made me giggle hysterically. I mean--COME ON!! It's a damned urinal!

I would never get any reading done if this was on my wall. Woohoo! On a side note, if anyone wanted to purchase this for a gift for me someday, I would be....pleased.

This was an interesting little article, but is it just me or does this lady sound really bitter??

I feel like I've always been in love with Beth Gibbons. She reminds me (visually and song lyrically) of myself. (Does that mean I'm in love with myself?? Probably - it would explain a lot.) I hope that doesn't sound too vain.

This is pretty much kitty pic spam of someone else's - but if you scroll down, there's this really funny "interview" with this famous *snort* cat.

If it tells you anything meaningful - this article is dated November 15, 2005....I've really been stockpiling them for you guys. This article surprised me, because I would've thought this would've been one of the first things "inducted".

Ah...nothing like a little bit of violence in comics, ne?

Ok. I don't really see the problem with this. Call me insensitive, but just because we judge it "intelligent" and more of a companion animal than livestock, doesn't mean it should or never could be used as food. As long as people know what they consume, I don't see the problem. Feeding it to other animals that are not carnivores per se - now THAT I would feel weird about, but feeding the meat to tigers and other animals that would eat similar prey in the wild is something that can't be denied as natural.

Now that I've probably offended half of you with the previous link - here's something that is just downright interesting.

Ok - that didn't even dent my bookmark file reserved for linking from here. *wipes brow* I think I will have to link to at least ten a day for several days to get them all cleaned out. I just deleted at least ten of them though because some were just TOO old (i.e. May 2005).

I think the pizza is almost done, so I hope you all enjoyed my uber-boring link-loaded entry! Huzzah!
