i'm not sick, but i'm not well and i'm so hot 'cause i'm in hellHell = Minnesota. Man. There is no way that people could love this kind of weather! I just don't believe it. I guess I only have to put up with this for a few months and then it'll be back to winter anyway. I wonder if there is a place (besides the North or South poles) that has very chilly weather all year round? I love winter. I love that we have it for at least half of the year. I'm in the right state, but my question is whether or not I'm in the right country.
If you will allow, I will now expound on why I love winter and strongly dislike summer. It all comes down to sweat really. The strongest argument for winter as far as I'm concerned is that you will never sweat through three pairs of panties in one day. You can wear a pair of jeans more than once without having to wash them because you haven't sweated profusely in them. Also, for about 2 weeks in summer the cotton is flying all over the place. This combined with the hot sticky days makes an adventure outside seem like dodging bullets, because when the cotton sticks to your sweaty, sticky skin it
itches and can drive even the most sane person mad.
Also - there are no bugs in winter. There are no outrageously painful sunburns from having been exposed to the sun for all of 15 minutes. There is also no need for air conditioning (this is especially nice when your air conditioner sucks ass anyway). You have many more options in clothing during the winter also - in the summer, you have to think of what you can wear that will keep you cool and not show how much you are sweating (which will be profusely).
And finally: You can always put on more clothes and do other things to stay warm in winter, but in summer, you can only get so naked and then you're stuck (and hot and sticky...).
