through this new frame of mind a thousand flowers could bloom

Ahhhhh! Post-election day feels good this time around. I could feel people getting in a better mood today as the final results rolled in. And as if a higher power wished to bestoy further blessings upon us, the weather was absolutely gorgeous today as well! A hopeful and bright new day dawned, and not just figuratively.

I'm usually not much for political talk on this blog, but I can't contain my excitement and feeling of relief. Yesterday, I felt excited to vote for the first time since the Gore/Bush election. Also, I got to see Keith Olbermann on TV for longer than usual. What a smexy man! Men like him make me weak in the knees - all they need to do is talk to me (using really big words).

So I guess that's about it. Still nothing too exciting on the homefront, but will write when there is.
