there's a purr of a pidgeon to break the still of daySo I am playing hooky from work today. I had promised myself that the next big snow storm we got, I would call in sick and go out and play in the snow. I won't get to see any glorious snow for over a year after this winter, so I'm trying to pack in as much winter fun as possible. Funny that as I write this, it is almost 2 in the afternoon and I have really only set foot outside once or twice - only as necessary. I haven't even really done much that could possibly be considered productive. I made banana bread - go me! Hardly anything to really cheer about. I worked a bit on one of my costumes for the convention, but gave up after an hour of work and realized that it still isn't going to look the way I want it to and that I will have to figure something else out.
I had a strange dream last night. I had a dream about
Shinya from Dir en grey. He was actually
a woman in my dream and she was getting married, but she was doing it publicly at a concert. She was playing drums on a separate little stage away from the rest of the band and her husband-to-be was standing beside her trap set. The band was playing a
Gordon Lightfoot song and the audience was singing along. This ended up being a pretty amusing dream, considering
this is what Dir en grey sounds like. It was definitely strange, but amusing.
In other related news, I keep having dreams featuring Bill Clinton on an almost weekly basis now. Every single one has me lusting after him. Hm. Maybe I have Lewinskyitis...
There was something else I was going to blog about, but now I don't remember. Pah.
