minna irukai?0906 hrs:Had some weird dreams last night. I had one where I was pregnant. Pregnancy has been a recurring theme in my dreams since I was a teenager, so it is not usually very surprising. Last night's dream was different because, by the end of the dream, it was discovered that I wasn't actually pregnant. I had gone to the hospital delivery room and everything. In the dream, my mom was very disappointed. The strangest thing was that everyone else was convinced I was pregnant, but I knew from the start that I wasn't and that I was just gaining weight, but no one would listen to me. Weird, huh?
I also had a dream where I wasn't even a participant in the dream. It was like watching a TV show. It was about a husband and wife. The husband was white and the wife was black. It was really interesting because it was just like I was watching their daily life and they didn't even know I was there. They had a cute little son that was just learning to walk. That was the dream I was having right before I woke up.
I had a rough go of trying to get good sleep last night, even though I was exhausted and went to bed early. I did a muscular strength work out last night that included "power squats". My quadriceps were immediately sore. For the rest of the night, they felt crampy and I tossed and turned to try to find a position where they didn't hurt so much so that I could sleep. *sigh* That's what I get for over-doing it, eh? I think it would be safe to say I'll be taking some IB tonight before going to bed. :\
1433 hrs:Today has really flown by. I think this is mainly due to the fact that today I've gotten to do a variety of things I hardly ever get to do - so that helped a great deal. My boss gave me a present in the form of a new project. It is a short term re-assignment of duties for someone who is going to be out on medical leave for a while. The job is extremely tedious and time consuming. I'm pretty excited because it'll be nice change from my current extremely tedious and time consuming job. BUT - it does give me a break from writing documentation, so that will be definite plus. At some point, writing documentation makes you feel like coming to work is some kind of purgatory and the only way to get out of it is if enough people pray for your depraved soul to be set free.
In other news - oh wait - there really isn't any other news. Well, there sort of is, but I still have all of my regular work to catch up on before the end of the day. Perhaps I'll bore you all with it tomorrow. XD
