so my burden i began to divest1054 hrs:Wow. This morning has been an anomaly. I'm not quite sure how it can seem to have been forever, yet feel like it is going too quickly. Weird.
Nailz and I "car-pooled" this morning, so it was an earlier morning than usual. We are hoping to get her car fixed this weekend. She has Monday off, so that will help to get things back up and running.
I guess I don't have much to say now that I think about it. I am pleased that it is Friday. I know I have no control over the flow of time, but yes - we must reward Time for finally getting to Friday, so that it knows that Fridays are good and it should do all it can to make it to Friday in a much more hurried fashion. *pats Time on the head and gives it a treat*
If this entry is cracked out, it's because I've had much too much coffee. Maybe should have stopped at 2 thermoses. Also, on prescription pain killer for the cramps from hell. I'm not feeling a thing right now, though. *grin*
1540 hrs:This shit is unbelievable. Not only did it
not warm up very much today, but now it is snowing again! This is coming from someone whose favorite season is winter. I usually can't get enough of the snow. But this winter is crimping my winter-style. I like the winters where you get a few good, big snow storms (6 inches or more in one go) and then it stays around 0 degrees or so in between. An occasional warm up is ok by me, but really - all of this inch here inch there and then way below zero temps is just not cool with me. Come on, Mother Nature - get with it. Time seems to be slowly, but surely learning - but Mother Nature just does what she wants no matter what.
Otherwise, I am getting ready to leave the office for the weekend. I cleaned a few piles off of my desk today (small piles) and that was nice. Nailz and I are supposed to go to a happy hour with her coworkers tonight, but depending on whether we can get her car to start, I may just stay home and relax. I feel like I haven't gotten to spend nearly enough bonding time with my bed lately. This is something that I hope to change this weekend. XD
