it's just a ride, no need to run, no need to hide*
1624 hrs:
So. It is Friday and I am just waiting for this work day to end. I don't think I have blogged this week. I have been super-busy and every time I think about blogging I always forget what I want to say. Now is a good example. A lot has been happening in my little world. As almost everyone (except my employer and my coworkers) already knows, I was accepted into the JET Program. I'm pretty excited, but really nervous all the same. Sometimes it really hits me that I will be living in Japan by the end of summer and my stomach lurches. I must admit that at first, it occurred to me to chicken out, but I'm going to do what Henry Rollins does and take that as a sign that I really need to do it. Because when the first reaction is a little bit of fear, it shows that there is an area and an opportunity to expand my mind and my self. Cheers.
