it's been since yesterday that i was the exact same way*

So the past two days have been absolutely crazy-busy with almost no time at home except to shower and sleep. My mind is all a buzz with random happenings, so I'm just going to write this entry as things come to my mind while I do other things.

Item 1:
I'm pleased to say that the big hoop earrings that I ordered from Rakuten are finally going to be shipped and probably delivered by the weekend. I had originally ordered them for the Arashi concert last weekend, but didn't realize that I had chosen the non-P.O.D. option. So they didn't ship the item to me when I ordered it. The emails from the shop being all in Japanese, it took me a 2nd email from the online store to realize that they wanted payment via postal money order before shipping. Ah, so...the big hoop earrings are reserved for another concert in the future. The reason for ordering them on the internet in the first place: in Japan, hoop earrings are kind of a way of saying you're easy. So many times the only big hoops you can find are made from cheap metal. Well, my ears only accept gold (white or yellow), so I had to order online. *sigh* But yay! They are on their way! :)

Item 2:
Today, I canceled my flights to Okinawa. I was supposed to go with a friend over winter break, but she is instead going home for Christmas due to illness in the family. The cancellation fee was not too bad. Of the 123800 Yen it cost, I will be getting back 98670 Yen. (So it basically cost me $275 to book and cancel 4 flights that I wouldn't be taking.) Win. While canceling for free would have obviously been much better, I still feel good knowing I'm getting back about $1000.

Item 3:
I deleted 28 "friends" from my facebook, including my most recent serious ex-boyfriend (which is, sadly, from 2003 - eep!). I'm really proud of myself. I've never considered him a friend, but always felt pressured to "be friends with your ex because it's the adult thing to do". Screw that. We don't have anything in common. On a related note: I didn't unfriend his mother, however, as I actually like her. >_<;

Item 4:
I did something I've never done today. I ordered prints of my photos for myself. I was ordering some to matte and frame for Christmas presents and finally realized that I wanted some for myself. People always pick the ones that are not my favorite, so I ordered my 7 favorite (only in 4x6, but still...) for me. I'm looking forward to having my very own prints to put on my wall - though I won't frame them. XD

Item 5:
I got so busy/distracted last night that I forgot to post this. Durrr....At least blogger auto saves. XD Now onto my Friday night!

Item 6:
Done being distracted? Maybe. I soon need to finish up what I'm doing and go to bed. Big shopping trip planned for the morning. Huzzah!

Um...so apparently this never posted. *le sigh* This is sort of a sum-up of the week. Sort of? Mah...
