i don't expect anything

Q: Who is the craziest person in your life?
A: The craziest person I know?  For real crazy?  Bad crazy?  Good crazy?  Good crazy is probably Bridget, who used to live in the next town over.  Bad crazy?  Well, I'll plead the 5th.

Q: What word did you overuse today?
A: Sorry./Sumimasen./Shitsureshimashita.  They all mean about the same thing.  Every day, these words just roll off my tongue.  And I'm not even Canadian...

Q: What is the current buzzword?
A: I'm not sure.  I don't really keep up with current media... Lately, I use "Am I right?" a lot, or "Just sayin'."

Q: What was the prevailing emotion of the day?
A: Envy and the following self-admonishment for being envious.  Seems that every guy I've asked out while living here has since gotten married.  I'm good luck to other people...

Random Ramble:
It's been snowing all week.  You know what this means?  It means I am going snowboarding for the 3rd weekend in a row.  And next weekend will also be a weekend of snowboarding - as will the weekend after that if there is good snow.  But you know what?  Secretly, I'm kind of tired of it. But I can't NOT do it.  Because the season will be over soon - and I can't pass up this opportunity to play in the wonderful snow of northern Japan.  Next year, I'll live somewhere where they have to use snow-making machines (they don't have those here...) and the ski hill is just that - a hill.  Not a beautiful mountain.  So dammit - I am hauling my butt off to go snowboarding as long as I can...whether I like it or not.
