A: To not go crazy - to not let myself be consume by insecurities and anxieties. Also to meditate a little every day and always seek a better self.

Q: Can people change?
A: I think so. I know that I have - immensely. I feel like I've lived so many lives because I've changed so much.

Q: What are you reading right now?
A: Ah ha! Well, I finished all of my 2013 books, so now I'm starting fresh with End Game by David Rohde for the bathroom (depressing stuff in short bursts - that's the way to do it), An Abundance of Katherines by John Green for the bedtime and Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman on CD in the car.

Q: The best part of today?
A: Ooh. That's tough. I'd go for yoga in the morning and then hanging out with A. tonight re-watching Sherlock.

Q: What was the last restaurant you went to?
A: I'm going to discount McDonald's. XD It would be India House on Grand Ave on the 1st. Tasty!

Q: You are lucky; how so or not so?
A: Well, today I feel exceedingly lucky to have health insurance through the VA, as I am doing a sleep study tonight to see if I have sleep apnea.
Random Ramble
Well, the sleep study showed no breathing abnormalities, so I am feeling really grateful for that. No CPAP for me! Huzzah! They wanted to do a daytime sleepiness study, too, but the VA wouldn't approve it. Mostly, I just wanted to make sure I didn't have sleep apnea because that can come with health repercussions.
I've recently been typing up selections from old diaries and then shredding them. I know I've mentioned this before. The current diary I am on is from 10 years ago from when I was in Bosnia doing Peace Keeping with the Army. Sadly, the first half of the entries are all about (you'll never guess!!) boys. *huge eye roll* Nothing about mission or anything. In other words, nothing interesting. Now I'm into the entries where I actually tell what I did every day - much more interesting. It makes me think about starting a journal again and writing what I do every day. Events are much more interesting than mooning over boys (most of whom I didn't even remember until I re-read the diaries....).
