i am my mother on the wall, with us allAh~ So it seems that I am blogging more often lately. Maybe it is just my imagination. I sure have been going to town on LiveJournal though! Seems like I am constantly querying the Friends List for advice on how to help me do some really thorough spring cleaning.
This week is going by super fast. I have only gotten in my car to go somewhere once this week and that was this morning to run to the gas station for cigarettes. Otherwise, I have been hanging around the apartment and not going out. I am really limiting my travel because of gas prices. I am making an errand list, so that when I actually do get around to leaving the apartment I will have a route planned out and everything ready to go.
Just from going through my room alone, I have 4 bags of clothes and a big box of old craft and sewing stuff to donate to Goodwill and a children's theater downtown respectively. AND - I'm still not done! Today, I took a break from going through my room and instead cleaned out the bathroom. I threw away a grocery bag full of bathroom items (old lotions, sprays, make up, expired medicines, etc.) and then scrubbed everything (except the tub) to be spotless.
Tomorrow, I will return to my room. I have a big Tupperware bin full of old letters and cards that I've kept over the years. This is where I get stumped. What should I do with all of that stuff? Do you guys have any ideas? Affreca suggested scanning the letters so I have a digital copy and then getting rid of the real things. This is sounding like a good plan to me, but I don't think I would want to scan them all (they are probably not all worth it and there are A LOT of them) and so this would require me to go through them all and decide which ones were worth keeping. When I think of doing that I feel like throwing my hands up and just throwing them all in a big burn barrel and striking a match. Ultimately, I will have to make a decision - which I don't really want to make. I am also going to do another pruning of my book collection. My goal is to have all my books fit into the one 3-shelved bookcase I have; currently, I have 3 extra boxes of books. :(
I also have only been eating one small meal a day. I am completely lacking in desire to eat lately. No time, it seems, even though I don't go out, so it's not like I don't have access to all the food in the pantry...
Well, I've completely babbled. *blushes* I apologize for any boredom fits this blog might have inspired. XD Ciao for now!
